Your Turnitin guidance is moving!
We’re migrating our content to a new guides site. We plan to fully launch this new site in July. We are making changes to our structure that will help with discoverability and content searching. You can preview the new site now. To help you get up to speed with the new guidance structure, please visit our orientation page .
Enabling direct submissions
Direct submissions allow folders to be designated as 'submission folders'. A submission folder will be assigned a unique link that can be used by any user to submit to Turnitin - even if they don't have a Turnitin account. These users will not receive a Similarity Report, but reports will be available to the creator of the folder.
Please note that direct submissions using this method are not available to administrator, instructors, or other users who access Turnitin using the LTI tool or LMS integration.
- Select Settings from the sidebar.
- Navigate to the Direct Submission section.
- Select Allow direct submissions to allow users within your institution to use Direct Submissions.
